Residential Care Worker-Rehab/Belfast
The Residential Care Worker is responsible for providing personal care, supervision, and skills teaching to clients/residents as outlined on the individual treatment plans.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
High School diploma or equivalent and Personal Support Specialist (PSS)Certification is required.
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or other related field is preferred
2+ years experience working in a residential care setting preferred
2+ years experience working with a broad spectrum of mentally ill clients desirable
Able to pass the driving safety standards as set by the insurance company
MHRT-I certification or eligibility to received certification required
Proof of all certifications required for provisional MHRT-I
Qualify as an “Other Qualified Mental Health Professional” from the Maine Department of Mental Health, Mental Retardation and Substance Abuse Services
Valid driver’s license and appropriate level of automobile liability insurance
