Kindergarten Teacher

The William H. Rowe School in Yarmouth is looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic educator to join our Kindergarten team. The successful candidate will demonstrate a depth of knowledge in literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional development at the primary level. Experience with the Science of Reading literacy programming, Everyday Math, and Responsive Classroom practices is desired. Strong classroom management and communication skills are essential, along with a commitment to continuous professional growth. Must hold a valid Maine teacher certification.
The Yarmouth School Department, located ten miles north of Portland, Maine, serves students in kindergarten through grade 12 across four schools and is consistently recognized among the highest-performing school districts in Maine, with two National Blue Ribbon Schools awards since 2018.
