Catholic Charities Maine Counseling Services in Portland has a Part-Time opportunity for a professional person to assist the program in ensuring compliance with the administrative policies and procedures, and to create a welcoming atmosphere for callers and visitors.
- Position will be Monday through Friday, 25-29 hours per week with some flexibility. Hours are as follows:
- Monday 12:00PM - 7:00PM
- Tuesday 12:00PM – 5:00 PM
- Wednesday 12:00PM - 6:30PM
- Thursday 12:00PM – 5:00PM
- Friday 12:00PM – 3:00PM
The Administrative Assistant II shall have initiative, sound judgment, dependability, excellent computer skills, creativity, and the ability to work independently, or as a member of a team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: secretarial/receptionist duties including correspondence, filing, etc. Accounts receivable, accounts payable, monthly billing and appropriate costing, vouchering and reconciliation. Experience in administrative healthcare preferred. Eligible candidates shall have a minimum of an Associate’s degree or equivalent experience and/or training including 1-2 years in a healthcare setting, preferably in an administrative patient/client or patient facing role. Shall have a basic understanding of Health Insurance and Healthcare reimbursement. Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and utilizing an Electronic Medical record (EMR).
